The MSC-400 takes advantage of the latest technology, including Narrow Band RF and the ability to communicate with the hardware from multiple vendors.

The MSC-400 provides unparalleled control options for your client’s equipment including IR (infrared), RS-232 (serial), Relay (contact/voltage triggered) and even USB Keyboard commands. Therefore, it can be used to operate the most sophisticated audio video components, lighting, Media Center PCs, even motorized screens, drapes and lifts. The MSC-400 takes the frustration out of integrating components that lack discrete commands by incorporating video and voltage sensors to track true device status. In addition all macros are stored in the MSC-400 and executed by a digital trigger. This makes automation fast and incredibly reliable.

Software Designed For Professional Installers
Designed to optimize programming flexibility and shorten installations, the software offers advanced programming options like IF/ELSE nesting logic and the channel favorites tool, which enables installers to program dozens of numeric keypad macros in seconds. The result, no limits on your imagination when it comes to dreaming up new features to make operation easier and fast, fast programming.

The MSC400 includes one RFX-250 RF Receiver. The receiver is separate from the Master System Controller to optimize freedom from RF Interference and speed installation. Via the MSC-400’s RF Inputs, up to three RFX-250s can be connected. Since each RFX-250 typically gives 50-100 feet of range, huge estates can be given robust, reliable RF via a network of wired RF receivers.

Compatibility
Install with any URC RF compatible remote control. Note that the MSC-400 is compatible with the RFX-250 and RFX-250i. The RFX-250 and RFX-250i differ only in transmission frequency (RFX-250 is 418MHz, RFX-250i is 433MHz); however, i-series antennas must be matched with i-series controllers.
